Sorry for the late reply on this one. Thanks a lot for the comment. Yeah, the truth is; I started this one as a portrait study. Only later I decided to make a bigger scene. So it seriously lacks early planning. No other excuses. But at least I like the background too.
WOW. These colors are so bold and striking! Not necessarily in a realistic way, but I think I like that... I like how the red jumps out at you. As usual, your shadows and highlights are stunning, and as simple as the background is it still looks like you put a lot of love into it.
As I said before, really really sorry for the late replies. This one was supposed to be a quick portrait study. But some drawings have their own personality and they know exactly how they want to look like. This one was one of those. It was very natural to me to finish, and a pleasant surprise at the end. Although some more early planning would make it look a lot better.
Aye! You are right, but the truth is that I started this one only as a portrait study. Only later I decided to make a bigger scene showing parts of the body. Probably thats why its not very good there. Lack of planning. At least I like the background and the portrait.
Yes I am using Ps. You are right! But If I'd do that it would show that I didn't work very well on those areas. They aren't finished, capiche? hehe I would have to get back to the figure and make the proper correction.
