Cool isn't it?
A friend of mine said he stole from university. I then choose not to ask any further question, in order to stay away from the matter. But I drew it regardless.
But I think its not very difficult to find some sculptors that sells this kind of stuff for artists and art courses. Its not very expensive here.
I used to go to National Portrait Museum, in London, to take pictures of the statues, and sometimes to make a quick pencil drawing. But there is nothing like having plenty of time to draw the real statue. You know how it is.
I did the museum thing for a while too, one of them here has a massive wall with 15 plaster heads, my favourite spot in the museum. A couple weeks ago I made a cast of my own hand, pretty handy for learning hand anatomy.
